5 Reasons to Make a Card For Someone Special
Here are a few ideas of cards for all occasions, as there are more cards made and given for Birthdays and Christmas we’ll start with Birthdays…
1. As everyone has a birthday you should be making cards forever:). Decide who you’re making the card for then choose an appropriate subject. If you know their age you could build a card around that. Is the card for a man or woman? Women just love flowers or lots of sparkle, so you could start there. If you’re making a card for a man sport and transport themes come to mind, and there are many ideas between football and sports cars.
2. Make them a Christmas Card, when you consider the time of year, you know there’s going to be an abundance of glitter and sparkle. There’s allsorts of themes to choose from, Christmas Trees, Angels, Stockings, Crackers, Stars, Santa, Holly and Mistletoe. And if that’s not enough to get your creative juices flowing, how about Snowflakes, Candles, Snowmen and Sleighbells. Of course, you could make a focal point of Christmas Greetings such as: Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings and happy Holidays. You may also favour an appropriate Christmas verse.
3. Contrary to what some people will have you believe Weddings are still very popular. I heard a remark at a Wedding I attended, you may already know it. Someone said: “A Wedding may only last for one day, but a Marriage lasts a lifetime,” So consider making an Anniversary card, and just as Weddings will always be around, so will New Babies. The thought of all those oohs and aahs is sure to put your creativity on turbo.
4. Also don’t forget Valentines Day, all those hearts, flowers, ribbons and bows. These are similar colours and theme’s to Christmas but you can obviously get more personal and risque with your choice of greetings.
5. This is only five reason but here are loads more:) You could make them an Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thank You or Get Well card. There’s also Best Wishes and Congratulations. Landmark Birthdays are important too so there’s 18th and 21st, 20 Something, 30 Something, etc.
